What is Olala professional cookware?
Olala is a European-designed line of professional cookware built for industrial and HoReCa kitchens - restaurants, hotels, cafés and catering. The range covers frying pans, crepe pans, wok pans, sahan and pancake pans, each engineered for even heat distribution and durability through continuous, high-volume service.
Every Olala line comes in a full set of sizes, from compact à la carte pans to large-batch diameters, so you can match each pan to the job. Materials and finishes are selected for longevity, easy cleaning and consistent results across long, busy services.
Olala pans come in two constructions. The pressed line has an aluminium body, a hard-wearing non-stick cooking surface and a stainless steel handle, in the widest range of sizes. The cast line is poured into a mould for a thicker, heavier body that holds heat longer, with a granite-effect non-stick interior, a rectified flat base and a bakelite handle. Neither range is induction compatible. If you need help choosing the right products or sizes for your kitchen, our team is happy to advise.
Frequently asked questions
- What products are in the Olala range?
- The Olala range covers five professional lines built for HoReCa service: frying pans, crepe pans, wok pans, sahan and pancake pans. Each line is engineered for a specific task in a commercial kitchen - the frying pan for everyday à la carte cooking, the crepe pan for thin batters and delicate items, the wok pan for fast, high-heat stir-frying and large-batch sautéing, the sahan for cooking and serving straight to the pass, and the pancake pan for even results at volume. Every line shares the same European design and aluminium construction, so a kitchen can standardise on one cookware family across stations. You can see each product, with its available sizes, in the catalogue above. A typical breakfast operation, for example, might pair 28 cm pancake pans on the griddle with 20 cm sahan for eggs to order, while the main line runs on 24-28 cm frying pans.
- What sizes do Olala pans come in?
- Olala cookware is offered across a full range of rim diameters so you can match each pan to the dish and the burner. Frying pans are available from 20 to 32 cm (20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30 and 32 cm), crepe pans from 22 to 30 cm, and wok pans from 26 to 32 cm. The sahan comes in 20 and 22 cm, and the pancake pan in 28 cm. All measurements are the rim (top) diameter in centimetres, which is the standard way to size professional cookware. If you need a specific size, set or volume for your kitchen, contact our team and we will confirm current availability. As a rule of thumb, 20-24 cm pans suit single portions and egg dishes, 26-28 cm handles most à la carte mains, and 30-32 cm works for sharing plates and batch cooking.
- What are Olala pans made of?
- Olala cookware is made with an aluminium body, a hard-wearing non-stick cooking surface and a stainless steel handle. Aluminium gives fast, even heat distribution and a light pan that is easy to handle through a busy service; the non-stick surface allows easy release and quick cleaning; and the stainless steel handle is durable and stays secure with repeated professional use. The cookware is designed in Europe, with clean, considered forms and a focus on longevity, easy cleaning and reliable performance in commercial kitchens. For full material details on a specific product or size, contact our team and we will be glad to help. In daily use, non-stick cookware lasts longest when paired with silicone or wooden utensils and washed by hand with a soft sponge rather than abrasive pads. Many professional kitchens also rotate several pans per station so no single pan takes every service.
- Are Olala pans suitable for induction hobs?
- No. Olala pans have an aluminium body and are not induction compatible, so they are not designed for use on induction hobs, which require cookware with a magnetic (ferromagnetic) base. If your kitchen runs on induction and you would like guidance on the right setup, contact our team and we will help. For any other questions about hob compatibility for a specific product, get in touch and we will confirm the details for you. On gas and electric ranges, the aluminium body performs at its best, heating quickly and evenly across the base. Many professional kitchens still run primarily on gas precisely because it gives cooks instant, visible heat control at the burner, and the full Olala range covers those gas and electric stations.
- Who is Olala cookware designed for?
- Olala is made for professional and HoReCa kitchens - restaurants, hotels, cafés, catering operations and other high-volume foodservice settings where cookware has to perform through long, demanding services. The range prioritises even heat distribution, durable construction and consistent results when pans are used continuously, day after day. It suits both à la carte stations that need quick, responsive pans and high-output kitchens that work in large batches. Because every line is available in a range of sizes, an operator can equip an entire kitchen - from a single café to a multi-station hotel kitchen - with one coherent cookware family. A hotel breakfast kitchen, for example, might run pancake pans and sahan through a two-hour service window, while a bistro relies on its frying pans across lunch and dinner. In both settings, keeping a spare pan per station in rotation keeps service moving while used pans are washed.
- How can I order Olala cookware or request sizes for my kitchen?
- To order Olala cookware or ask about sizes, sets and volumes for your operation, contact our team by email at info@olalachef.com, by phone, or on WhatsApp. Tell us what your kitchen needs - the stations you run, the sizes you use most and the quantities you are planning - and we will help you choose the right products and put together the right set. We welcome enquiries from restaurants, hotels, cafés and catering businesses, as well as from wholesale buyers and distributors interested in carrying the Olala range. A useful starting point is a simple count: list each station, the pans it uses in one full service, and add at least one spare per station for rotation. Sending that list with your enquiry lets us respond with a complete, ready-to-order set.
