Cast Frying Pan
The Olala cast frying pan is made by casting rather than pressing - molten aluminium is poured into a mould instead of a sheet being stamped into shape. The result is a noticeably thicker, heavier pan wall at the same rim diameter, and in a working kitchen that extra mass is what carries temperature through service: the surface drops less when cold food hits it, and the pan comes back up to heat faster between covers.

The interior carries a granite-effect non-stick coating for clean release and a quick wipe between orders, and the body is finished in black with a faceted, textured outer wall. The base is rectified - machined flat - so the pan sits flush on a solid burner or flat-top and heats evenly right across the cooking surface rather than just in the centre. The handle is bakelite, which stays cool to the touch on the hob, and the pan is available in 20, 24 and 28 cm. These pans are not induction compatible. Frequently asked questions
- What is the difference between the cast frying pan and the standard Olala frying pan?
- They are made two different ways, and they suit different sections. The Professional Frying Pan is pressed from aluminium, carries a stainless steel handle and runs from 20 to 32 cm - lighter in the hand, which matters when a cook is lifting a pan a few hundred times a shift. The cast pan is poured into a mould, so the wall is thicker and heavier, it holds temperature better when cold food goes in, and it pairs a granite-effect non-stick interior with a bakelite handle in 20, 24 and 28 cm. Kitchens that sear and want heat recovery usually take cast; kitchens running fast repetitive service usually take pressed. Neither range is induction compatible.
- What sizes does the cast frying pan come in?
- Three sizes: 20, 24 and 28 cm, measured across the rim. The 20 cm handles single portions and egg work, 24 cm is the general-purpose à la carte size that most kitchens order in the largest quantity, and 28 cm gives room for two portions or a fuller sauté. Most orders are a mix weighted towards whichever size the kitchen's main dish runs at, with a smaller number of the other two to cover prep and service peaks. Tell us your section layout and cover count and we can suggest a split.
- Can I order the cast pans wholesale, and are lids available?
- Yes. We supply professional kitchens and distributors wholesale across Türkiye and for export, and there is no public price list - send us the sizes and quantities you need and we will come back with a quote. Tempered glass lids are part of the cast line specification, so tell us which sizes you want them for and we will include them. Private-label and OEM production is available on the cast line as well, if you are putting your own brand on the pan.
